St. Meinrad Archabbey – The Ravens

The Ravens house has given the monks and priests of the St. Meinrad Archabbey a tranquil place for their visiting families to stay.  It is also used by the monastic community for personal vacations or retreats without leaving the campus.  Though the house is a residential style dwelling, the aesthetic design blends well with the surrounding facilities.  The interior of the Ravens has an open floor plan throughout the Kitchen, Dining and Great Room with architectural moulding details.  For guests with special needs in mind, the house was designed not only with a handicap accessible entrance, but to be accommodating within the bedrooms and private baths as well.    A concrete Patio and Screened-in Porch extend the living spaces outdoors.  This project is another great example of how Jasper Lumber’s communication combined with fine craftsmanship achieves the preferred design of form and function the Customer was looking for.

"We get all sorts of compliments on the house..." "It has turned out to be a very welcomed addition to the facilities."
